My parents visited last week and had a genuinely upsetting experience because of one staff member (seems to be new). They stood waiting for several minutes with no one bothering to assist them, while this guy chatted with another customer instead of doing his job. When he finally showed up, instead of seating them properly, he launched into an unnecessary buffet pitch completely unnecessary since it's already posted right at the entrance. It got worse from there. They ordered a soda and waited forever, the drink never showed up. Then, completely out of line, this guy picked up my parents' phone and started opening Instagram to follow an account called "curry mango." That is not okay. Staff should not be touching customers' personal phones, period. Even after they sat down, he kept hovering and chatting, clearly not reading the room. They were also pushed to leave a review on the spot. The food, as always, was delicious no complaints there at all. And we've met the rest of the staff over the years, everyone else knows how to maintain privacy while still being warm and friendly. Yesterday we visited Curry Mango for the first time and our experience was outstanding. We immediately got seated. In les than a minute the waitress came with the menu and brought a complimentary basket of papadum with different sauces. Our meal came out pretty quickly, hot and with a beautiful presentation. My husband had chicken fried rice medium spicy, I ordered the chicken dum biriyani. For dessert we had Gulab Jamun. Everything was exquisite. The waitresses didn’t engage in lengthy conversations, but they pleasantly answered all of my questions and checked on us often and refilled our cups of water. The place is super clean. We saw how meticulously they clean the tables and floor when people leave, and that is not something common in other restaurants. The restrooms were super clean too. Cleanliness is one of my top requirements when I go to a restaurant. The only thing ai would recommend is that they ask their clients if they have any allergies. I think that is a must and they are missing there. Hopefully they read this and implement it as soon as possible. For us, Curry Mango exceeded our expectations. It is one of the best Indian restaurants we have visited in Florida.

The best Indian restaurant in Lakeland, their food is always delicious and flavorful. Definitely recommend the lunch Buffet so you have a little of everything to try. My kids enjoy eating here too. Service is friendly & the restaurant is very clean which i like. Nothing puts me off eating at a place quicker than dust & dirt left around, but it's nice in here and a comfortable setting to eat.

If you’re looking for incredible Indian food, this place is an absolute must visit. From the moment our food started coming out, we could tell everything was made with real care. Every dish that was meant to be hot came out hot, fresh, and steaming, not lukewarm like you sometimes get elsewhere. The chicken was incredibly tender, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the appetizers came out at just the right temperature. You can genuinely taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. We’ve tried quite a few Indian restaurants around Central Florida, including some higher-end spots, and this one honestly outshines them. The quality of the food here is better than places that charge significantly more. Another big plus: they offer plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and everything is clearly labeled, which made it easy for our group to navigate dietary restrictions without stress. The service was also great. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and happy to answer any questions we had. The atmosphere is simple and comfortable, nothing overly fancy, but it works. Amazing! Our first time here, the staff were very pleasant and efficient with food and drinks. The sauces and food were all very delicious with great flavors. The fish in the "green mango fish curry" was very tender and melted in our mouths. The Madras lamb curry was also amazing with fantastic flavor and cooked very well. 10/10 will eat here again.
